The Originators of Wedding Choreography Continental Dance Club - the studio that originated wedding choreography teaching you to dance to your first song on your wedding day. Our experience and expertise has given us the opportunity to work with HUNDREDS of couples, preparing them to look polished, elegant, and above all COMFORTABLE on the dance floor. With the CONTINENTAL METHOD, our success is based on one of three (3) goals, that you choose. They are as follows: 1. THE NATURAL LOOK - making you look RELAXED, COMFORTABLE, AND CONFIDENT - like you've been dancing your entire life - WITHOUT looking like you stepped out of a dance studio. 2. THE ELABORATE, SHOWY STYLE - which includes spins, turns, "dips", sways, etc., created to your own individual taste.This can be done on a moderate level, or a lavish, extravagant one. 3. ENHANCE & BRUSH-UP - for the couples who already dance but want to review, polish, enhance their steps and perhaps add a little material or patterns to their already existing repertoire. Our facilities--unlike other studios that only have one room - consist of a large ballroom, in addition to four (4) private teaching rooms - for the "shy" dancer. No two couples are treated alike. Our emphasis is on an individualized, personalized, approach. Every couple is unique. Located two (2) blocks from the Garden State Parkway(exit 148), we're available, by appointment, seven (7) days a week. Our bridal services also extend to parents of the bride and groom, friends, and bridal parties. We INVITE you and family and friends to BE OUR GUESTS, any Wednesday night, from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM, so that you can see our facilities, meet our students and staff, check out our dancing, AND........we will give you a COMPLIMENTARY CONSULTATION and discuss and answer any questions you may have. The SOONER you get started the more time you will have to devote to "last minute" adjustments and preparations for your wedding. Dance lessons should be the first thing you get started, and the last thing you worry about. Our specialized bridal services also include assisting you with song selection - if need help choosing one. We are able to help coordinate your music with your DJ or band or orchestra with recommendations. We teach and offer information on wedding and dance etiquette, as well as including "tips" you'd never imagine - just to insure that your wedding day is indeed special! We'll even show you how to be more photogenic in front of the camera. Did you know that couples are not only choosing to "slow dance", but they're adding Salsa, Tango, Swing, etc., in addition to their "first dance". Some couples are using these dances - or others - as their wedding dance. Some bride and grooms are even changing their clothes for these dances. Our philosophy is - THIS IS YOUR DAY - plan and enjoy it the way you want to make your dreams come true.
